Examples of Carmel’s recent work

Carmel’s executive coaching assignments include:

  • Carmel has worked with a “Big 4″ accounting firm over a four year period coaching a large number of senior professionals to successfully hone their leadership skills to step up into Director and Partner roles
  • Carmel was engaged to coach a General Manager in a major transport organisation, with a view to preparing that manager for a more senior position.  Soon after the coaching engagement ended, her client was appointed to a Group General Manager role and subsequently to an executive role in the company’s Asia Pacific region.

Carmel’s leadership team development assignments include:

  • For the last three years, Carmel has been working with a Chief Executive Officer and two senior management teams within a large NZ organisation.  During that period Carmel has been engaged in both team development and leadership coaching with several executives, including the team that leads the 2008 “NZ best places to work” organisation.   • When a number of businesses in the health sector were merging, Carmel played a key role in facilitating the executive team develop cohesion and direction.  This was achieved through a series of team interactions (mainly around the dynamic of the team) and tailored leadership coaching for each of the executives.

  • Carmel has assisted many businesses develop a clear organisational vision and supporting strategies.  During these client engagements, Carmel has consulted widely with the management team(s) and Board of Directors and facilitated the agreement of a clear direction for these clients.  References are available.
